Hi all, quick Avisynth question. I have a 1440x1080p30 anamorphic VC-1 video in an ASF container that I'd like to frameserve with Avisynth and I'd like to know whether I can expect to run into problems using a filter graph with WMVideo DMO as the VC-1 decoder. Reading the Avisynth Mediawiki, I...

Maybe some disc authors are more familiar with MPEG2 encoding techniques and maybe licensing plays a part too. I don't know for sure but I would have thought that producing an MPEG2 BD would cost you less than a VC-1 or AVC disc. Also, I have noticed most little studio intros are MPEG2 and so are...

I'm playing around with different sharpening filters, and in the past have found the Gimp's NL Filter to be one of the best.
I looked around for an AviSynth filter implementation of it, but haven't seen one yet (and I'm generally pretty good at searching.)
Perhaps someone who knows could...

Hi
Any chance of making a photoshop plugin wrapper ?
gimp and paintshop pro all have the ablility to use photoshop's
plugins, why not vdub?
I suppose it isn't too hard since gimp's source code is already out
there. this could tap vdub to thousands of read to use photoshop
filters, and...

Im doing an encode of an Anime where the intro has a 3:2 Pattern and the rest is progressive.
I used TFM().TDecimate() to get rid of that but is unsure if i have to specify the frames where this should be used or does it has no impact on the progressive frames?

F4V is just a mp4 with a different extension. You need to "optimize" the mp4 (moving the index the the beginning of the file instead of the end) if you want it yo be played immediately. You can do in HandBrake by checking the Web Optimized checkbox, of use an utility to do so, like mp4creator,...

I've never had this much trouble with anything, ever.
