The world premier of Fight Night Round 4 (Xbox 360/PS3) will be shown live at Spikes Video game Awards on December 14. Boxers so far confirmed for the game are Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Muhammad Ali. The game is expected to be released sometime in 2009.

The University of California Berkeley and University of California San Diego recently conducted a spam email effectiveness survey. They sent almost 350 million e-mail messages in 26 days which resulted in a total of only 28 sales (a conversion rate which is well under 0.00001%). 27 out of the 28 sales were for "male-enhancement" products like Viagra with the average purchase price around $100.

Midway has received notification from the New York Stock Exchange stating that it could be de-listed from the exchange because of its low share price. Under NYSE rules, the Company has a period of six months from the date of the notice, subject to possible extension, to cure the deficiency. During this cure period, the Company's shares will continue to be listed and traded on the NYSE. The Company plans to notify the NYSE that it will seek to cure the deficiency.

Jason Young, chief executive of Ziff Davis, has said that they are "considering taking its other print magazine, the video-game publication Electronic Gaming Monthly, into an online-only format, but would not make a decision before the end of the year."

The European PSN store has been updated. The update includes the BioShock PS3 Challenge Rooms pack for £6.29/€7.99 and a LocoRoco 2 PSP demo.

"Lips," the new singing party game exclusively for the Xbox 360 from iNiS Corp., today announced the first two weeks of downloadable content available in Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the in-game Lips "Get Music" store. Hit songs by a variety of popular artists are available and new songs will be added regularly. Seasonal content with videos will also be offered, so stay tuned for holiday music with custom holiday videos by artists including Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, Gene Autry and more beginning on December. 5. Songs will start at 160 Microsoft Points each.

A website is reporting that Mirror's Edge has performed very badly in Europe, contributing factors such as its lack of replay value and multiplayer options are believe to have resulted in just sales of just over 30,000 during its first week on sale in Europe (on PS3 and less and Xbox 360 we're led to believe, although the source is not totally clear). Ultimately, this will have got EA thinking twice about a sequel for this new IP.
